This is the paradigm on which Swami Mommy set up the first recycling stations at the Rainbow Gatherings starting in the 1980s.

I saw a stack of papers with this on it on the counter at Information at my first Rainbow Gathering in North Carolina in 1987. I saw more reproductions of this at many other gatherings later.

A horizontal rail is lashed across two vertical posts or two tree trunks near to each other. Then seven plastic trash bags are tied to the rail with their mouths open for people to put things in. Rainbow colored signs are attached to identify each bag.
