Part of a Norman fort near Lisdoonvarna, Ireland

Lisdoonvarna (from the Gaelic Lios Dúin Bhearna, meaning "Enclosure at the Fort by the Gap") is a town of about 800 people in County Clare near the west coast of Ireland. It is famous for its matchmaking festival.

This tune is in Dorian mode, like natural minor but with the sixth degree raised a half step – E minor but with C sharp instead of C natural.

The instruments portrayed are the basic electronic trinity.

The basic melody is a folk tune that has been in the public domain for perhaps centuries, but this particular electronic arrangement I regard as my own intellectual property and I do not give permission for it to be used in any advertising or in any commercial venture I receive no compensation from.
