The Road to Lisdoonvarna Length: 3:16 minutes |
|
Lisdoonvarna (from the Gaelic Lios Dúin Bhearna, meaning "Enclosure at the Fort by the Gap") is a town of about 800 people in County Clare near the west coast of Ireland. It is famous for its matchmaking festival. This tune is in Dorian mode, like natural minor but with the sixth degree raised a half step – E minor but with C sharp instead of C natural. The instruments portrayed are the basic electronic trinity. |
