The paperback edition of Rainbow Gatherings contains the following factual errors, which were not brought to my attention until after this book went to press.

page 274

Joanee Freedom was not a nurse or CALM member. I confused her with Jane Lightwaryr. The Forest Supervisor decided Joanee was a leader after he observed her at a council objecting loudly to another person who was offering to sign the permit. She started out by saying, “You have no right to speak for anyone else but yourself!”

page 277.

The three camping convicts were sent to medium security prisons, not minimum security.

page 309

Rather than to a minimum security prison, Plunker was admitted to a Federal Detention Center (Seattle, WA), classified among “administrative facilities”, which are “institutions with special missions, such as the detention of pretrial offenders; the treatment of inmates with serious or chronic medical problems; or the containment of extremely dangerous, violent, or escape-prone inmates”.

I have started inserting an extra page inside the back cover of all new paperback book orders that I send out.
